43 things

I have been a member of 43things.com for about four years now...off and on.  43things is a free online community that allows you to track up to 43 goals.  You can write about your progress and upon completion of a goal, note whether the goal was worth it.  You can also give advice to other people who are trying to achieve the same goal.  The site allows you to view the goals of other members.  You can comment on their goals, but my favorite interaction is the "cheer."  Everyday you are allotted a specific number of "cheers" which you give to encourage people on their journey.  It works, and it is nice to see and interact with such a positive and uplifting group of people.  So many times when I read comments on online news stories or YouTube videos, I am saddened by the heartlessness and rudeness of the posts and comments.  There is no online bullying on 43things.com.  I recommend this site. Since you are given a limited number of cheers and goals to pursue, it is easy to manage your time and not get caught up in mindless Internet-wandering.  (I am very aware that I make up weird phrases and terms, but if people can understanding me, what is the big deal?!)

43things.com allows me to publish my postings to my blog, so that is what I am going to do.  You are welcome to follow my blog, or my account on 43things.com directly.  I can't guarantee that it will be super interesting, but I will try to post pictures and make the content relevant on a larger scale.

This is my page on 43things.com.

I am going to re-evaluate all my goals this evening.  Lately, I've had a lot of time to think about what I want from life, and I feel an adjustment is necessary.

Thank you for your interest in my blog.
